Alissa RuehlManager of Website Effectiveness Consulting, Apogee SearchAlissa Ruehl is the Manager of Website Effectiveness Consulting at Apogee Search, the largest search marketing company in the southwest. She managed the Paid Search department at Apogee for over three years, and during that time was personally involved in the management of paid search campaigns for over 100 companies, including Golfsmith, Lance Armstrong Foundation, PerkinElmer and St Jude Medical. In Apogee's Website Effectiveness division, Alissa has supervised and delivered successful conversion consulting engagements for dozens of companies.Drawing on her experience from paid search campaigns, industry research and testing for Apogee clients, Alissa assists clients in defining strategies & goals, understanding visitor experience, and testing page performance in order to increase the effectiveness of their website. Services include strategic persona modeling, heuristic website evaluation, and A/B + multivariate testing strategy and management. In the realm of paid search, she has been a champion for integrating their paid search data into multi-level, online and offline tracking systems, and therefore approaches website effectiveness not only in terms of boosting conversion to raw lead form or sale, but for improving the entire profitability of the website. Prior to immersing herself in the world of paid search, she worked in direct mail for the likes of TSI and the American Heart Association. She got started in online marketing while acquiring dual degrees in Marketing and the enigmatic Plan II honors program at the University of Texas. |
