Nick WhiteCommunity Manager, Buzz Corps, Inc.Nick White launched the Northwest office of Buzz Corps, Inc., a hands-on word-of-mouth, social media and influencer marketing consultancy, in April 2008. A Seattle native, Nick began his career at Amazon.com, where he worked to bring their nationwide network of distribution centers online. Nick also spent time managing speech technology deployments at Conversational Computing, then delivered Spanish-language cell phone applications to clients of InfoSpace.At Microsoft for nearly five years, Nick worked first in the Mobile and Embedded Devices Division and most recently in Windows Client. In both capacities, he successfully managed non-traditional marketing programs that engaged bloggers and other community members who are influential in shaping customers' purchasing decisions. He also spent over two years conceiving, launching and managing what continues to be the most-trafficked blog at Microsoft. Nick earned Bachelor degrees in both English and Spanish from the University of Washington and an MBA from Duke University. |
