Tom DiCorcia

International Trade Officer, Oregon, Economic and Community Development Department

Tom DiCorcia is an International Trade Officer at the Oregon Economic and Community Development Department, where he helps Oregon high tech and bioscience businesses sell more products overseas through consultation and through leading trade missions.

Prior to moving to Oregon, Tom was the Asia Pacific marketing director for Arbortext  – a Norwest VC funded software firm that was acquired by PTC in 2005. Working from Tokyo, Tom managed a network of resellers in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Australia. Prior to joining Arbortext, Tom was with the solutions division of Fuji Xerox in Japan. He has also held product marketing positions with Xerox and Hewlett-Packard.

Tom has an engineering bachelor’s degree from Stanford, an MBA in marketing/international business from NYU, and is completing a masters of engineering degree and a certificate in industrial ecology at the University of Michigan. Tom completed part of his business education at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy and has lived in Europe and Asia for extended periods. He speaks Japanese and Italian.
