Speaker Bios

Ananthan Thandri is the Chief Information Officer at Mentor Graphics, an Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software company. In this role, Thandri is responsible for the Global IT, Engineering Tools, and License and Install for Mentor.

Prior to joining Mentor, Thandri worked recently at Oracle Corporation. At Oracle Thandri was the Vice President of IT for Server Technologies Division. Thandri’s responsibilities included supporting the build Labs, development process and tools, and IT infrastructure. Thandri also managed the technology relationship with key Oracle partners, including Intel, HP, SUN and IBM.

Prior to Oracle, Thandri worked for Cadence Design Systems as the Vice President, Information Technology. In his eleven years at Cadence, Thandri has implemented a variety of systems including SAP, Siebel, Data Warehousing, and complete Electronic Fulfillment System. Thandri spearheaded the global delivery model for Cadence through IT outsourcing and saved millions of dollars.

Overall Thandri has over 20 years of experience in the IT field.

Thandri has participated in several CIO conference panels throughout United States. He was profiled in the January 2004 Technology Venture Capital journal in their CIO section.

Thandri graduated from University of Madras in Mathematics, and MBA from St. Mary’s College, CA.
