A startup expert, McKinsey & Company alum and Dell computer veteran, Bill has deep expertise in using direct marketing to drive sales and leads, at both the senior executive and the tactical level.

As CEO, he has led Apogee Search to become a national leader in Search Engine and Online Marketing, growing it to become one of the 20 largest firms in the industry, and the largest in the Southwest.

Immediately before Apogee, Bill served as President and CEO of Journyx, a profitable software firm, Bill used online and other direct methods to grow the company from zero product revenues up to one of the 500 largest software companies in existence. Earlier in his career, Bill headed up strategy and special projects for Power Computing, the first company to sell $1 million in product on the internet and served in the Office of the Chairman at Dell during some of their fastest growth.

As a volunteer, Bill currently heads up the Austin Interactive Marketing Association as President. He has been a professor (teaching Entrepreneurship and Internet Marketing) at the graduate MBA level, as well as a classroom trainer and board-level facilitator at publicly-traded companies.

Bill has also been a sought-after speaker, talking at major shows like PC Expo, Search Engine Strategies, Online Market World, LinuxWorld, SES, and Innotech as well as a presenter at numerous local & regional events for organizations like the American Marketing Association and local DMA chapters.
