Speaker Bios

During the last nine years Information Services has reorganized, improved and expanded services and continues to build toward a sound infrastructure for Oregon State University research, teaching and learning. Over the past few years, Curt has supported the open source movement making the OSU Open Source Lab a focal point for collaboration and innovation in open source software development. The Lab has grown rapidly and is hosting most of the world's largest open source projects.

Before joining Oregon State University, Curt served as Oregon's first state Chief Information Officer and as Associate Director of Information Services for the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries and Technology Director for the 12th largest public electric utility in the United States.
