Kent is responsible for integrating Verdiem's software technology with the hardware offerings of computer manufacturers, as well as to create partnerships and alliances with electric utilities and other energy efficiency organizations throughout North America. In addition to his role at Verdiem, Kent also managed the 80 PLUS Program from 2005 - 2006. Not only did Mr. Dunn's work with 80 PLUS help motivate PC manufacturers to move to a higher level of product efficiency, but it ultimately served as one of the pillars for the new ENERGY STAR 4.0 spec for computers that was enacted last year. Prior to joining Verdiem in 2001, Kent spent 11 years in a variety of public and private sector roles in the sustainability business. In each of those roles, his focus has been to bring green technologies to the high-tech industry.
